Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with two years of housekeeping experience.
• Two years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and be mobile.
• Ability to maintain orderly records.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Must possess a valid State of Ohio driver’s license and be insurable under Firelands’ auto policy.
• Successful completion of a 90-day probationary period.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and CDC precautions and use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates housekeeping activities; ensures tasks are completed and safety rules followed.
• Tours facilities to observe staff and ensure instructions and safety rules are followed.
• Schedules and assigns work to ensure adequate staffing and routines.
• Responds to floor and emergency calls and performs environmental services duties as required.
• Trains employees on new equipment, cleaning methods, and policy changes; enforces procedures.
• Monitors inventory and prepares requisitions for replacements and repairs.
• Provides input in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Keeps records of cleaned rooms and areas and communicates with the Manager daily.
