Qualifications

• Minimum Education: None specified; preferred HS diploma or GED.
• Minimum Experience: Two (2) years housekeeping and/or supervisory experience.
• Licensure: Tennessee driver's license Class D and state minimum insurance coverage; driving record must meet Covenant Health standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all housekeeping personnel and direct work activities.
• Adjust schedules and assign duties to accomplish tasks; monitor performance.
• Participate in hiring, termination, and evaluation under department manager supervision.
• Schedule shifts, vacations, and coverage; coordinate relief for meals and breaks.
• Train and orient staff; arrange in-service and training programs.
• Determine supplies and equipment needs; maintain laundry services and linen supply.
• Ensure cleanliness in public areas and restrooms; evaluate safety.
• Maintain a safe environment and report equipment or safety concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
