Qualifications

• Two (2) years of housekeeping and/or supervisory experience required.
• Valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D and state mandated minimum insurance coverage.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all housekeeping personnel and direct work activities.
• Schedule shifts and vacations to ensure adequate coverage.
• Participate in hiring, termination, and evaluation of staff based on job performance.
• Coordinate staff relief for meals, breaks, and meetings.
• Train and orient personnel in proper procedures and techniques.
• Arrange in-service programs and other educational training for staff.
• Determine supplies needed and maintain equipment.
• Oversee laundry service, including supplies and linens.
• Evaluate public areas and restrooms for cleanliness on time.
• Local travel required.
• Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
