Job summary

UVMMC - Medical Center - Main Campus is seeking a Supervisor for Environmental Services to oversee waste management, cleanliness, and infection prevention across the Environment of Care. You will coordinate ES projects, manage staff schedules, training, and performance plans, and regularly meet with department managers to align with FAHC's objectives.

The role requires an Associate's degree (or equivalent) with at least five years of supervisory experience, including two years in a healthcare

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the supervision of operations related to Waste Management, the physical appearance, and Infection Prevention of the complete Environment of Care through cleaning, and disinfection. The Supervisor coordinates all routine and project assignments and activities for ES, maintains all schedules, training, evaluations, and performance improvement plans. Meets with Department Managers regularly. The incumbent(s) achieves cost, quality, and regulatory objectives while meeting FAHC'S strategic and operational objectives.

EDUCATION

Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of five years of supervisory experience. Two years in a Health Care environment.
