Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network's UVMMC - Medical Center - Main Campus in Burlington seeks a Supervisor for Environmental Services. This night shift role oversees waste management, cleaning and disinfection, ensuring a safe and compliant environment of care.

You will coordinate all ES projects, maintain schedules, lead training and evaluations, and work with department managers to meet cost, quality and regulatory objectives.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
• Two years in a Health Care environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations related to Waste Management, the physical appearance, and Infection Prevention of the complete Environment of Care through cleaning and disinfection.
• Coordinate all routine and project assignments and activities for Environmental Services; maintain schedules, training, evaluations and performance improvement plans.
• Meet with Department Managers regularly to align on cost, quality and regulatory objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
