Job Details

• Position: EVS Specialist
• Location: Lancaster General Hospital - 555 N. Duke Street
• Department: Environmental Services
• Hours: Full-Time-Evenings, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am, Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital and hospital-owned properties, including refinishing and scrubbing floors, shampooing carpets, and performing routine housekeeping functions.
• Clean all environmental surfaces following universal precautions.
• Refinish floors, including machine scrubbing, stripping, and applying floor finish.
• Respond to routine requests via pager.
• Shampoo furniture and extract carpets as necessary.
• Handle hospital furniture, equipment, and supplies disposal, transfer, or storage.
• Remove, wash, and rehang curtains and window treatments.
• Perform wet mopping of rooms, hallways, stairs, bathrooms, and offices.
• Gather and dispose of refuse and soiled linen following safety protocols.
• Maintain hospital property and report repairs needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
