Environmental Services Specialist-Campus (4) (T230953).
Performs a variety of routine and major professional cleaning duties in public and private spaces of the university. Responds to urgent cleaning needs as a result of spills or accidents. Adheres to established schedule to maintain cleanliness standards. Uses professional cleaning products, equipment and techniques. Interacts with customers, visitors, students, coworkers and others in a friendly, helpful and professional manner. Assists other team members with daily work and special projects. Uses assigned communication device.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS TO INCLUDE:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Experience: Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
Starting Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including Monday - Friday, 4:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Shifts are subject to change to meet the needs of the University.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Some positions require that driving record should meet University underwriting guidelines to drive a vehicle in performance of University business. Current underwriting guidelines include possession of a valid driver\'s license, issued in the United States; at least 21 years of age; at least three years of driving experience; maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
