Job summary

Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Environmental Services Worker for the South Campus to perform cleaning of patient rooms and public spaces on a 1st shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday with every other weekend.

You will follow infection control practices, perform floor care, waste removal, restock supplies, and report maintenance needs. High School diploma or GED preferred; no licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and sanitizing activities in designated areas including patient rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces.
• Maintains flooring care including cleaning, buffing, and applying floor sealer and floor finish.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment such as buffers and mops.
• Provides waste collection and removal including recycling and biomedical waste.
• Restocks cleaning supplies and other items like toilet paper and soap.
• Reports maintenance or repair needs to management.
• Bed tracking tasks as needed.
• Works with patients/customers and healthcare staff.

Uses and maintains power equipment and hand tools such as buffers, auto brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture. Provides waste collection and removal including biomedical waste, recycling, cleaning trash chutes and receptacles. Mixes and obtains cleaning solutions from dispensing systems; follows appropriate cleaning methods and uses the correct solutions and equipment for different surfaces. Restocks cleaning supplies and various other items such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Carries out bed tracking tasks, as needed.
