Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and sanitizing in designated areas including patient rooms, bathrooms and common spaces.
• Maintains flooring care including cleaning, buffing and applying floor sealer/finish; vacuums, shampoos and extracts carpets.
• Uses and maintains power equipment and hand tools (buffers, auto brooms, mops, squeegees) for floors, walls, carpets and furniture.
• Provides waste collection and removal including biomedical waste, recycling and trash chute/receptacle cleaning.
• Mixes and dispenses cleaning solutions; uses appropriate methods and equipment for surfaces.
• Restocks cleaning supplies and items such as toilet paper, paper towels and soap.
• Carries out bed tracking tasks as needed.
• Reports maintenance or repair needs to management.
