Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to clean patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas across the Laureate Campus. You will perform flooring care, use buffers and mops, and support waste removal and restocking tasks.

This full-time role requires the ability to read and follow safety instructions, prioritize work efficiently, and provide courteous service to patients and staff. The position is on-site at the Laureate Campus in Tulsa, OK.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand oral instructions and safety signage.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient rooms, bathrooms and common areas throughout the health system facilities.
• Maintains flooring care including cleaning, buffing, and applying floor sealer/finish to hard floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
• Uses power equipment and hand tools for cleaning and maintenance of floors, walls and furniture.
• Performs waste collection and removal including biomedical waste and recycling; cleans trash chutes.
• Restocks cleaning supplies and items like toilet paper, towels, soap.
• Supports bed tracking tasks and reports maintenance or repair needs.

Maintains flooring care including cleaning, buffing, and applying floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors; vacuums, shampoos and extracts carpets. Uses and maintains power equipment and hand tools such as buffers, auto brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture. Provides waste collection and removal including biomedical waste, recycling, cleaning trash chutes and receptacles. Mixes and obtains cleaning solutions from dispensing systems; follows appropriate cleaning methods and uses the correct solutions and equipment for different surfaces. Restocks cleaning supplies and various other items such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Carries out bed tracking tasks, as needed. Reports any maintenance or repair needs to management.Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.Working Relationships: Works directly with patients and/or customers.
