Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. invites applications for an Environmental Services Manager in Training. This paid 12-week program trains you to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

You will learn hands-on operations, policy compliance, scheduling, staff development, and how to liaise with administrators to ensure top-quality service. Residency in service area and ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
