Responsibilities

• Leads and guides environmental service staff in the performance of duties.
• Participates in training of new staff and ongoing educational programs for staff.
• Prioritizes workload and distributes assignments accordingly.
• Provides input into staff counseling and evaluations; assists in completing competency assessments and performance appraisals.
• Ensures safety measures are followed and acts as a resource on customer service, equipment operation, safety, and infection control.
• Performs all functions of the Environmental Services worker; performs cleaning tasks following established procedures in a timely manner.
