Job summary

Samaritan Hospital is seeking an ES Assistant Supervisor for full-time day shift to support the Supervisor in all department operations. Primary duties include housekeeping, floor care, planning, scheduling, and staff oversight across campus sites.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and prior Environmental Services supervisory experience, plus basic cleaning technique knowledge and floor care skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior Environmental Services and supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to develop effective supervisory skills.
• Floor care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping and floor care duties.
• Assists the Supervisor with planning, scheduling, recruitment, training, paperwork, staff oversight, inventory, ordering, and special projects.
• Provides supervision and assistance at off-campus sites.
• Coordinates with Supervisor and shares responsibility for the cleanliness of the buildings.
