Job summary

The Environmental Services Worker Lead provides work leadership to hourly employees in Aramark Facility Services areas of responsibility during events and will also perform hands-on work.

Assists management at shift start/end with sign-in, supplies, and equipment, coordinates supplies, supervises assignments, and ensures sanitation procedures and safety compliance are followed. This role also supports training, records management, and adherence to OSHA and client standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in environmental services.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.
• Ability to understand and follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists management at beginning and end of shift with sign-in, supplies, and equipment sign out.
• Assist shift operation in preparing and delivering supplies to meet employee needs.
• May assess public restrooms and on-call rooms as needed.
• Adhere to departmental sanitation procedures.
• Report employee issues (safety, injuries, and disciplinary).
• Supervise staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services.
• Formulate action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies.
• Assist in employee training, coaching, and motivation.
• Maintain an accurate record-keeping system for quality control.
• Follow established systems and training programs to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain compliance with Aramark standards of operation and client contract.
• Keep all records and reports to comply with Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards.
