Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking an Environmental Services team lead to oversee daily EVS operations across hospital areas. You will plan with supervisors, assign tasks, ensure completion, and optimize staffing for shifts.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills, plus experience in housekeeping or EVS. You will liaise with staff and patients to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred.
• 3 years experience with at least one in Housekeeping or EVS.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead co-workers in day-to-day operations of the EVS program.
• Confer, plan ahead with supervisory staff on assignments, projects and activities.
• Verify completion of all duties/tasks by EVS staff per EVS procedures.
• Assist in scheduling EVS staff and adjust daily schedule for proper staffing.
• Functions as EVS Tech, know all positions within department; lead role responsibilities.
