Job summary

AdventHealth in New Smyrna Beach, FL is seeking an Environmental Services team member for a full-time night shift. The role involves cleaning, trash disposal, linen handling, and stock replenishment in patient areas and support spaces.

You will work in a fast-paced hospital environment ensuring high cleanliness and safety standards. Required is a High School diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and basic computer literacy.

• 2+ years in environmental services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash in an appropriate manner.
• Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and surface sanitizing.
• Collects and stages soiled linen for pickup.
• Cleans assigned areas daily, changes bed linens, and maintains cleanliness.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary.

Job Description:

• Collects and disposes of trash in an appropriate manner.
• Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping, high dusting, wall washing, scrubbing, bed making and vacuuming.
• Collects and stages soiled linen for pick up.
• Cleans assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary or designated.
