Job Description

To provide a clean, safe, sanitary, and appealing environment at The Christ Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient safety.
• Clean patient rooms and discharges as required.
• Be knowledgeable of all ESI chemicals and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Perform routine floor maintenance, including use of floor machines, auto-scrubbers, and burnishers.
• Prepare floors for refinishing, including stripping and scrubbing surfaces, and applying coats of finish.
• Clean carpets using proper spotting techniques and equipment.
• Handle trash removal, including learning routes and using equipment like steam autoclaves and shredders.
• Follow confidentiality policies and safety protocols.
• Basic computer knowledge for email and safety testing.
• Perform additional tasks such as meeting setups and recycling.
