Job summary

Desert Parkway in Las Vegas is seeking an EVS Aide to maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors. You will clean patient rooms and public areas following infection control protocols.

Schedule is one or two days per week; prior housekeeping experience is preferred; must read, write, and communicate in English; physical stamina is required for cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year housekeeping experience, preferably hospital/medical setting.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
• Knowledge of cleaning and disinfectant products.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, and public areas per hospital standards.
• Handle and dispose of biohazardous and regular waste.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment like buffers and vacuums.
• Follow safety, Joint Commission/CMS regulations, and infection control protocols.
• Ensure EVS closets and equipment are clean, organized, and secure.
• Schedule is one or two days per week as needed.

• Operate specialized floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers and vacuums.
• Follow all safety, Joint Commission/CMS regulations, and infection control protocols.
