Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Environmental Services Director to join our team at Stonecreek Health and Rehab. The role plans, directs, and supervises all environmental service operations to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly living environment for residents.

Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, developing systems to maximize housekeeping efficiency, and conducting regular inspections to uphold safety and sanitation standards in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience in environmental services.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong math skills: rate, ratio, and percentages.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies, codes, standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of infection control techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage housekeeping operations and Environmental Services staff to maintain a clean, safe living environment for residents.
• Authority to hire, train, and assign personnel; recommend promotions and terminations.
• Develop systems and programs to maximize housekeeping effectiveness.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure safety and sanitation per policy.
• Oversee purchases of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Maintain required records and reports per department policies.
• Adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Participate in disaster planning, ensure staff involvement in drills, and maintain emergency supplies.
• Refer policy-change decisions and outside contracts to the Administrator.
• Follow the master cleaning plan for the facility.
• Review staff performance and counsel/discipline personnel per policy.
