Job summary

Alliant Engineering is seeking a Director of Environmental Services to lead a seasoned team of environmental experts. You will shape the group’s vision, manage workloads, and expand offerings by hiring, training, and collaborating with project managers across service areas.

You will drive marketing efforts, develop technical proposals, and build relationships with clients while ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery. The role blends leadership with hands-on project guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Ten or more years of experience in environmental sector, preferably in AEC consulting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to present technical information.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Environmental Services Group and strategy.
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver environmental services on schedule and budget.
• Expand service offerings through hiring, training, and partnerships.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
• Represent Alliant at industry conferences and professional organizations.
