Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking an Environmental Services Director to lead the housekeeping operation, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable facility.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 3 years of healthcare environmental services experience, with a pre-employment background check and drug screen. This full-time, exempt position offers a comprehensive benefits plan, 401k, generous PTO, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct housekeeping operations to meet standards.
• Perform administrative and committee functions.
• Oversee personnel functions and staff development.
• Ensure safety and sanitation across all service areas.
• Manage equipment and supplies of housekeeping.
• Uphold resident rights and comfort.
• Coordinate with residents, staff, and other department directors.
• Participate in continuing education programs.
• Liaise with other supervisors to plan housekeeping services.

Requirements of the Environmental Services Director:

• A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma.
• 3 years experience and previous healthcare environmental services experience

Responsibilities of the Environmental Services Director:

The primary purpose of your position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards guidelines, and regulations governing our Facility and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that our Facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

• Works in office areas as well as throughout the housekeeping service areas (i.e., resident rooms, therapy rooms, dietary, etc.).

• Communicates with housekeeping personnel and other department directors.
• Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
• Maintains a liaison with other department supervisors to adequately plan for housekeeping services or activities.
