Job description

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Custodial Operations Manager 2 at Pembroke Hill School in Kansas City, MO. Reporting to the Facilities Director, this manager will be responsible for aiding in day-to-day custodial operations at the school. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools and college campuses. Joining us at one of our school sites means fostering healthy learning environments and positively influencing students’ well-being and performance.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee day-to-day custodial services within the district;
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment throughout the campus for students, faculty, employees, and guests;
  • Develop staffing schedules;
  • Manage payroll and supply orders;
  • Hire, train, and develop a strong team, including safety training and equipment use (e.g., wet/dry vacuums, extractors, buffers, sprayers, auto scrubbers, electric carts);
  • Demonstrate a high level of performance in a team environment with a desire for career advancement.

  • Strong leadership skills, ability to work independently, ensure program compliance, conduct employee reviews, and provide feedback;
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards, chemicals, floor care, high-touch cleaning, etc.;
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience: 2 years
