Job summary

Sodexo is seeking Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 to oversee the housekeeping department at Cambridge Hospital. This is a 120 bed acute care hospital located in Cambridge, MA.

This position will oversee a team of frontline employees, reporting to the General Manager. This is a day shift, weekend and holiday rotation required.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee frontline teams to deliver exceptional environmental services that prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency. You’ll manage daily operations, guide team development, and help maintain high standards that create clean, healthy, and welcoming environments.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are predominantly achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range

$77605 - $100430
