Sodexo is hiring a full-time Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 for UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC, a 980+ bed facility. This second-shift leadership role oversees a 25-person team, focusing on cleanliness, safety, and operating efficiency.

You’ll handle scheduling, training, daily operations, and driving customer satisfaction through clear communication with hospital staff. Salary ranges from $56,270 to $72,820, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career

We are seeking a full timeEnvironmental Services / Custodial Manager 2for UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC which is a 980 plus bed hospital. This is asecond shiftposition(3:00pm start time)overseeing a team of 25, working a rotating weekend.

These teams also have responsibility for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service via effective communication with all levels of hospital staff.

About the job

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee frontline environmental services teams to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. You'll play a key part in scheduling, training, and supporting daily operations, helping create a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $56270 - $72820
