Job summary

Corewell Health in Stevensville, MD is seeking a part-time Environmental Services associate to clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas, and to remove linens and waste per established procedures.

You will assist visitors and staff, perform floor and fabric maintenance, and support cross-site coverage as needed while maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients and employees.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred in hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial fields.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and stock patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas per established procedures.
• Remove linens and waste streams and ensure proper disposal.
• Maintain and restore hard floors, carpets, and upholstery per procedures.
• Assemble, maintain, and store equipment and supplies necessary to complete tasks.
• Communicate with team to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
• Assist visitors and employees in navigating the hospital to reach their destination.
• May work across department sites for coverage as needed.
