Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to clean, disinfect, stock, and maintain patient rooms and hospital spaces. You will remove waste and linens, care for floors and upholstery, and support team coordination for continuous service. No prior experience required; full training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in public service or customer service in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and stock patient rooms and offices per procedures.
• Remove and dispose of linens and waste streams.
• Maintain floors, carpets, and upholstery; perform interim/restorative cleaning as needed.
• Communicate with team to ensure continuity of service and coordinate tasks.
• Assist visitors and employees in navigating the hospital.
