Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is hiring an Environmental Services Assistant PRN to maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, discharge areas, and common spaces in a busy hospital in Miami. You will follow infection control policies and complete daily tasks to support department goals.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 1–2 years of floor care cleaning in a hospital or clinical setting, with good English reading and speaking skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years previous floor care cleaning experience; hospital/clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write and converse in English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily cleaning of patients rooms, discharges, business areas, non-patient areas and common areas by following all appropriate cleaning and infection control policies and procedures.
