AdventHealth in Tarpon Springs, FL is hiring for a facility services role. You will collect trash carts, respond to pickups, and transport carts as needed. You will follow safety protocols and wear PPE, working with various departments to maintain clean, safe hospital environments.

Roles require reading instructions, basic English communication, and a 30‑day ramp to proficiency. Schedule includes Day‑Weekend shifts with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifikationen

• Hospital or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions.

Job Description:

• Collects trash carts and delivers them to assigned area according to schedule.
• Responds to requests for special trash pickups and relines trash containers as needed.
• Transports trash carts from collection point to designated area.
• Attends all required Safety Training programs and understands responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job‑related hazards.
• Follows Hospital Exposure Control/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens protocols.
• Promotes effective working relations and collaborates within and across departments to meet goals and objectives.
• Monitors and reports any equipment issues or shortages and ensures supplies are stocked.
• Assists in cleanup of emergency spills as requested or observed.

• [Required] Monitor and report any equipment issues or shortages.
• [Required] Assess areas of assignment and make any suggestion for improvement to supervisor.
• [Required] Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment in all aspects of job performance.
• [Required] Document daily assignments completed.
• [Required] Use Capacity Management system to maintain productive flow of beds and patients. Call in and out as required.
• [Required] Accesses the medication room for cleaning purposes only. (Will be properly oriented on med room procedures.)
• [Required] Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.
• [Required] Interact with patients/customers in an appropriate manner in relation to age‑based competencies.
• [Required] Will be given 30 days to become proficient in all aspects of the position.
