Job summary

Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital is hiring an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment, including patient rooms, public areas, and offices. You will support infection control and contribute to a positive patient experience through cleanliness and organization.

• Prior hospital/healthcare experience preferred; cleaning/housekeeping experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows per daily schedule.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
• Collect and remove trash from all areas of the facility daily.
• Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness.
• Adhere to all infection control policies and report safety hazards to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
