Job summary

OhioHealth Corporation seeks Environmental Services Associates to clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas and service areas within a hospital setting, delivering reliable service and customer care.

You will follow departmental processes, use equipment properly, stock carts and respond to tasks. No degree is required and shifts are variable in a high-reliability healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required.
• Individuals aged 16-18 with an applicable work permit may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Obtain assigned cleaning or maintenance requests from automated system, daily assignment sheet or verbal direction; perform duties as assigned, including moving beds or furniture and completing required paperwork.
• Follow direction and proper usage of all equipment used in job performance; maintain cleanliness and notify area through work order process and paperwork to keep equipment and supplies.
• Keep all assigned carts and areas stocked to appropriate levels; linen distribution included in stocking.
• Willing to complete other duties as assigned, including storeroom maintenance to meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards.
• Use a high level of customer service throughout the OhioHealth organization to patients and other customers.
