Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is hiring a part-time Environmental Services Aide to join our webteam. The role focuses on thorough room cleaning, adherence to infection control policies, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

You will follow training policies, communicate with the Housekeeping Supervisor, and perform duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
• Basic dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing skills.
• Follow written and verbal instructions; adhere to infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Thorough room cleaning following training policies to ensure areas, fixtures, and surfaces are cleaned daily or as assigned.
• Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
• Maintains good working relationships and communicates with other departments, residents, families and fellow staff.
• Responds pleasantly to all requests.
• Communicates to Housekeeping Supervisor only problems encountered while performing daily routine.
• Performs any other duties assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor or Director.
