Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide/Housekeeper for St James Hospital in Butte, MT. The role ensures sanitary, safe, and attractive facilities by cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and equipment, and by correctly disposing of waste in accordance with hospital standards.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week), with Monday–Friday shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Base pay ranges from $16.71 to $20.43 per hour, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits

• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and vacuum all floor surfaces.
• Dispose of all infectious and non-infectious waste.
• Clean patient rooms and common areas.
• Dust all areas both high and low.
• Stock supplies for cart and room as required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cleaning beds and Alaris IV Pumps.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate communication with patients/visitors/customers.
• Give proper instructions to patients/visitors/customers according to age.

Scope
