Job summary

Pinckneyville Community Hospital in Pinckneyville, IL is seeking a full-time Environmental Services professional for the Evening (2nd) shift. You will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining hospital and ancillary areas, with duties including bed making, linen changes, and restocking supplies.

Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. You must be able to work weekends and holidays on rotation, with an emphasis on adherence to infection-control policies and teamwork

Shift

EVS Department operates on Day, Evening and Weekend shifts. Applicants must be able to work weekends, and holidays on rotation. This position will be on the Evening shift (2nd shift).

Status

Full-time, Evenings (2nd Shift)

Position Purpose

Responsible for the appearance, cleaning and disinfecting of hospital and ancillary buildings. General housekeeping duties and /or laundry and linen duties as assigned by department manager. Duties can include (but not limited to): making beds, changing linens, cleaning floors, vacuuming carpets, restocking medical supplies, using disinfectants, and applying infection‑control policies.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Requirements

Prior experience in a healthcare setting in preferred.
