Job summary

Virtua Medical Group in Marlton, NJ is hiring an Environmental Service Worker for the 3rd shift on a part-time basis. You will maintain a safe and sanitary environment for visitors, patients and staff, performing cleaning, trash removal, linen distribution, and room setup.

The role requires following universal precautions, safe handling of waste and chemicals, and willingness to work across multiple Virtua locations as needed; English language ability is required and prior customer service

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak English required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains Virtua facilities as directed, including cleaning, removing trash, linen distribution, and room set up.
• Maintains universal precautions to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Safely handles and disposes of regulated medical waste and other trash.
• Responsible for proper chemical usage and maintaining a safe environment, including storage of chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May assume linen responsibilities as required.
• May be required to work in other facilities as assigned.
