Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician I to help keep a clean and safe hospital environment. You will interact with patients, clean rooms, prepare rooms for new patients, and operate cleaning equipment across units including operating rooms.

The role offers full-time hours, rotating weekend shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and preferred housekeeping experience, with basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required: email, eLearning, Ipad, Vocera, and pagers.
• Able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, handling fluctuating workloads.

Position Description

We help our patients and visitors live well by providing a clean and safe hospital. As anEVS Tech 1, you would perform general cleaning tasks across the hospital:

• Interact with patients and visitors
• Clean occupied patient rooms
• Prepare discharged patient rooms for the next patient
• Clean operating rooms
• Operate floor cleaning equipment
• Spill response
• Transport waste

Pay Details

• Pay Rate: Starting at $17/hour
  • + $2.00 Weekend shift differential
  • + $1.60 2nd shift differential
  • + $5.503rd shift differential
  • Holiday Pay Time and a Half
• Benefits Eligible: Yes (Health, Vision, & Dental Insurance, Retirement Plan, Education Assistance, + more)
• Shift Details:
  • 1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm + rotating weekends
  • 2nd Shift –4:00 pm–12:30 pm + rotating weekends

Position Requirements
