Job Purpose

The Environmental Service Technician at FAMILY HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY LLC is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role is crucial in ensuring that the hospital's facilities meet health and safety standards, contributing to the overall well-being and satisfaction of everyone within the hospital premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Collect and dispose of waste, including hazardous materials, in accordance with hospital policies and environmental regulations.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, hand sanitizers, and paper products in designated areas.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure cleaning schedules do not interfere with patient care and hospital operations.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for resolution.
  • Follow infection control guidelines to prevent the spread of infectious diseases within the hospital environment.
  • Participate in training sessions and stay updated on best practices in environmental services and hospital cleaning protocols.
