Full Time & Part-Time opportunities available
Positions working 20hrs a week or more are benefits eligible
Positions start at $16, rate commensurate with experience
1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift Schedules Available, with rotating holiday and weekend requirements
Shift Differential for 2nd Shift starting at 3pm: $1.50/hr, in addition to base rate. 3rd Shift starting at 11pm: $3.00/hr, in addition to base rate

Make an Impact! Clean and supply patient rooms, removal of soiled linen units, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, common areas, floors, public bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with hospital objectives.
Floor care: dry and wet mop floors, buff floors with buffing machine, burnish floors with burnishing machine
Refuse removal: collect and transport trash, remove soiled linen and red waste (according to Main Line Health standards)
Facility cleaning: wash walls, hang cubicle curtains, clean stairwells and perform any other assigned project as
Provide friendly, efficient customer service to patients, visitors and co-workers. Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report any machine malfunctions.
Observe and report need for repairs of hospital equipment, furniture, fixtures, etc.

Experience
Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of housekeeping experience is preferred.
Previous experience using battery operated floor scrubbers, buffers and burnishers is preferred
Education
Minimum of a High School/GED is preferred.
Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Mechanical aptitude is desirable
