Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to support hospital cleanliness, waste management, and infection control. You will work as part of a healthcare team and provide excellent customer service to patients and staff 24/7.

This per diem evening shift (3:30pm-12:00am) requires a high school diploma and willingness to obtain DOT hazardous material certification if needed. Prior environmental services experience is preferred, and roles support multiple departments

Performs tasks as a member of a healthcare team while independently providing the highest standards of quality in cleanliness, waste management, infection control, and customer service to serve our patients, clinical departments, ancillary departments, visitors, and staff 24/7.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in the environmental services field preferred.
• Experience working in sterile/infection control environment desirable.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• D.O.T. hazardous material certification or ability to obtain.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
