Job summary

Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to provide environmental support and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. The role includes cleaning tasks in assigned hospital areas, promoting sanitary conditions, and potential exposure to bodily fluids.

Duties may extend to the Medical Office Building and other premises, with rapid response to emergencies and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency preferred.

• Promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors
• May be required to perform tasks that involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination

• Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

The Environmental Services Associate (housekeeper) provides environmental support to the hospital. The focus of the EVS Associate is to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

As an "Environmental Services Technician" you will:

• Responsible for all general cleaning tasks in their assigned area of the hospital
• Promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors.
• May be required to perform tasks, which involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination.
• Similar duties may also extend to the Medical Office Building, other buildings and the adjacent grounds of the Medical Center's premises.
• Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency (preferred)
