The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a dedicated environmental services associate to help prevent the spread of diseases through thorough cleaning, waste disposal, and equipment sterilization in our hospital setting.

You will follow established schedules and infection control guidelines, operate floor machines, and participate in department meetings while maintaining clean, safe areas for patients and staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience related experience 0-1 year preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs cleaning duties in alignment with the organization and according to pre-established schedules and infection control guidelines.
  • Completes waste stream removal.
  • According to established procedures clean and service assigned areas.
  • Move furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around the Medical Center departments, and performs a variety of cleaning duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.
  • Operates assigned equipment, (floor machines, buffers).
  • Participates in a minimum of eight unit/department meetings annually.
  • Maintain assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.

Job Summary

Responsible for performing work aimed at preventing the spread of any diseases by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing areas, properly disposing of hazardous waste, and efficiently sterilizing equipment and apparatuses. Does this position require Patient Care? No
