Total Cleaning is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to join our hospital cleaning team in Miramar. The role focuses on delivering high-quality housekeeping, linen delivery, trash removal, and deep cleaning while following infection control protocols.

The candidate should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and customer-service driven. Schedule is on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon to 12 am (24 hours weekly).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of Environmental Services.

• Must pass a Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including linen delivery and removal, trash removal, furniture moving, and deep cleaning.
• Follow infection control guidelines and always maintain safety.
• Ensure trash is disposed of properly and areas remain clean and sanitized.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and report inventory or equipment issues to EVS management.
• Provide high level of customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Job description

As Environmental Services Associate you will be responsible for providing the highest quality of housekeeping services for the hospital. You will strive to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for the patients, visitors and staff by utilizing available resources and basic housekeeping skills. START IMMEDIATELY - Cleaner with Janitorial Experience.

We are looking for someone who is dedicated, detailed oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional quality.

Schedule and Location

Miramar - Saturday and Sunday 12noon-12am (24 hours weekly).

What You'll Do:

• Under the direction of the EVS Management is responsible for completing general cleaning duties including linen delivery and removal, trash removal, furniture moving and deep cleaning.
• Ensure that all tasks are completed safely, and in strict adherence to Infection Control.
• Ensure all trash is removed and properly placed in the appropriate containers throughout shift and prior to end of shift.
• Contributes to a safe, clean, and uncontaminated environment by ensuring work areas are kept clean, sanitized, and orderly.
• Knowledge and understanding of all products/chemicals to be used on a daily basis for areas assigned.
• Responsible for reporting inventory levels when running low and any issues with equipment to EVS Management team.
• Always provides the highest level of customer service.
