You will assist with wastewater and water discharge permitting, develop local limits, conduct surface water studies, write technical reports, and perform field surveys and site visits. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, ecology, environmental science, or a related field and at least five years of relevant experience; some travel will be required.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in chemistry, biology, ecology, environmental science, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with wastewater/water discharge permitting, including completing permit applications and processing draft permit documents
• Assisting with development of technically based local limits and implementation of pretreatment programs
• Conducting surface water quality studies
• Writing technical reports
• Completing field surveys and site visits
• Consulting with clients and resource agencies
• Assisting with business development through client relationships and presentations at organization meetings and conferences
• Some travel will be required
• The ideal candidate will have experience with Texas permit applications, creating figures for applications, reviewing and validating analytical data for water, non-potable waters, and biosolids, and assisting with MGPS and SWPPP compliance and implementation
