Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is seeking a senior specialist and task lead to guide multi-media programs with a focus on environmental compliance. You will interface with regulators and NASA environmental management while mentoring staff and delivering complex permits, plans, and NEPA documentation.

The role requires 8–12 years of progressive compliance experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental field (master’s preferred), and eligibility for a NASA PIV badge.

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of progressive environmental compliance experience, including task/team leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an environmental discipline; Master’s preferred.
  • Clearance: NASA PIV badge eligibility.
  • HAZWOPER 40-hour certification; CHMM/REM preferred; PE a plus.

  • Support natural and cultural resource programs (e.g., protected-species monitoring, Section 106 consultations) as assigned.

  • Clearance Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a NASA PIV badge.
  • Certification Requirements: 40-hour HAZWOPER; professional certification (CHMM, REM, or equivalent) preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) a plus.

Salary Range: $90,000 to $105,000

The compensation range listed for this position represents the good faith salary range Diné Development Corporation (DDC) and its subsidiaries reasonably expect to pay for the role, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the position’s responsibilities, the candidate’s education, experience, skills, internal equity, market considerations, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements or legal requirements.
