Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking Environmental Engineering Interns in Denver, CO. Interns will apply standard engineering techniques to assist design, update, and support project tasks across Environmental Services markets.

Responsibilities include data entry, research, presentation support, and collaboration with lead engineers. A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred, with active campus involvement encouraged. This is a full-time internship requiring permanent work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or related field.
  • Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
  • Active campus or community involvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Assist with responses to general questions.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Present solutions to project concerns and stakeholders.
  • Research solutions to project concerns and recommend actions.
  • Support ad hoc projects assigned by managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
