APTIM seeks a Geologist or Environmental Scientist in Lubbock or Midland, TX with 2–5 years of experience in environmental site investigations and remedial actions. You will perform field sampling, report preparation, and support permitting activities for various clients.

The role requires travel 30–40%, ability to work outdoors, and adherence to safety policies while delivering high-quality technical work.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of applicable experience in environmental site assessment and reporting.
• Ability to perform field work, desktop analysis, and reporting.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support in environmental site characterization, permitting, and regulatory reporting.
• Collects and interprets soil, groundwater, and air samples.
• Performs field work, manages schedules, and oversees contractors.
• Conducts Phase I/II ESAs per ASTM standards and client requirements.
• Drafts technical documents for regulatory agencies and clients.
• Balances multiple priorities to meet project targets and deadlines.
