Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) seeks a Consultant, Environmental Scientist in Minneapolis to lead environmental impact assessments and sustainability projects within the energy sector. You will collaborate with Project Managers to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables across field and office settings.

The role requires a biology/environmental science background with 8+ years of experience, strong communication, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental studies, or related science; 8+ years experience preferred.
• 2-3 years (5 years preferred) of environmental consulting experience or internships.
• Willingness to travel and maintain safety in field and office settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on environmental impact assessments and sustainability projects.
• Prepare plans, permits, and reports for wetlands, stormwater, NPDES, and wastewater programs.
• Conduct environmental compliance assessments and support corrective actions.
• Perform fieldwork including ecological studies and site assessments.
