Managing Consultant, Permitting and Compliance Specialist – Minneapolis, MN
ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Permitting and Compliance Specialist to manage, oversee, and conduct environmental impact assessment and regulatory compliance for energy facilities and energy-related development projects across North America. Focus areas include energy-related operations and maintenance, capital development and compliance initiatives, including Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)-regulated projects, midstream oil and gas projects, electric transmission lines and renewable energy projects. Projects are fast-paced, multi-faceted, and geographically diverse, requiring technical expertise in compliance with federal, state and local air, water, waste, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regulations.
The position requires the ability to work independently, manage projects and project teams, and handle varying priorities and multiple tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience overseeing environmental compliance on capital development projects, managing staff in a project setting, assessing environmental conditions and impacts, and strong technical writing and communication skills.
For the Managing Consultant position, the anticipated base pay range is $90,000 – $104,175 (USD). Pay is based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, travel, and business needs. Bonus eligibility may apply in some cases.
