Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Collect project-related data, including research, surveys for listed species, interviews with agencies and clients, map reviews, field investigations.
  • Assimilate and manage data.
  • Prepare constraints mapping.
  • Define the level of environmental analysis required.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments.
  • Perform complex assignments with independent decisions on problems and methods.
  • Assist in preparation for and participation in public information meetings and hearings.
  • Assist clients with permit coordination, acquisition and compliance.
  • Work independently on medium-size projects or assist senior scientists on larger projects.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
