AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our EcoSciences Team to deliver a variety of projects around the State and beyond. This is an entry-level position based out of Tampa, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support senior scientists and project managers with environmental assessments, permitting, wildlife surveys, and compliance monitoring.

• Conduct fieldwork including habitat evaluations, wetland delineations, wildlife surveys, and relocations.

• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and ensuring accuracy of environmental documentation.

• Collaborate across disciplines to incorporate environmental considerations into engineering and development projects.

• Gain hands-on experience in environmental services through impactful projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 0-2 years, with preference for industry experience or field research.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in physical or natural sciences such as Environmental Science, Biology, or Ecology.

• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; GIS mapping experience is a plus. Willingness to conduct fieldwork including wetland delineations and wildlife surveys.
