Resource Options, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Albany, NY team. You will conduct field sampling, analyze soil, groundwater, and vapor data, and prepare technical reports to support project deliverables.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, a BS in environmental science, geology, or a related field, and strong analytical and communication skills. You will work independently and with project teams to meet deadlines.

Join a Leading Team as an Environmental Scientist! Are you an experienced and skilled Environmental Scientist looking to make a significant impact on exciting and high-powered team? We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team!

Responsibilities:
  • Sample collection and analysis, report preparation, proposal development, and project coordination
  • Conduct field sampling activities including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling as per project requirements and regulatory guidelines;
  • Conduct environmental due diligence assessments including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments;
  • Analyze and interpret field data, laboratory results, and historical information to support the preparation of technical reports;
  • Prepare accurate and concise technical reports adhering to established guidelines
  • Stay up to date with current regulations and industry standards
Qualifications:
  • 3-5years of related experience
  • BS in environmental science, geology, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Pay Range:

$24.00/hr. - $26.00/hr.
